Alone with her thoughts,
But unable to hide.
The Invisible Girl,
Ventured outside.

As the sun warmed her bones,
A boy warmed her smile.
He captivated her thoughts,
As they talked for a while.

She was smitten completely,
And wondered if it was real.
That this boy wanted her,
As thats all she could feel.

As she opened her mind,
Her soul and her heart.
She fell in love with this boy,
And it hurt when apart.

But he felt this way too,
She found it quite a surprise.
That there was someone out there,
Who had opened his eyes.

They both found what they sought,
And it felt like a dream.
After years of being unnoticed,
The Invisible Girl was now seen.
